Welcome to Bering Sea Campus

Where the sea meets learning. We push the boundaries of knowledge in one of the world's most demanding environments. Explore our education center, college, and research center.

Integrating Culture & Education Grounded in Indigenous Knowledge

The Bering Sea Campus brings together a collective of institutions dedicated to advancing research, education, and cultural stewardship. As the overarching gateway for the Bering Sea Research Center, Tribal College, and Education Center, the campus provides a unified platform where academic rigor, Indigenous knowledge, and community engagement intersect.

By integrating these three sites, Bering Sea Campus supports a comprehensive approach to learning that encourages inquiry, collaboration, and discovery. Our shared mission is to strengthen educational pathways, promote regional resilience, and cultivate leadership grounded in the ecological and cultural significance of the Bering Sea.

Knowledge built on ice and ocean

The Bering Sea campus stands at the edge of the known world. Here, students and researchers confront the Arctic's complexity directly, learning not from textbooks alone but from the sea itself. We believe the best education happens where theory meets reality.
